Dead Dog

A man comes home to find his beloved dog, dead. Grief stricken the man has to
make sure the dog is really dead so he races the dog to the vet.

The vet examines the dog and confirms that the dog has died.
Unable to accept the loss the man asks the vet if there any
test he can perform, just to be sure. The vet says, yes there is
and points to a small door in a far corner of the the room. Out walks a
beautiful white cat. The cat approaches the examination table, circles it once
and exits the room through its door. There is no response from the lifeless
dog.

The man asks the vet if there is any other test? Yes, there is, replies the
vet and points to a larger door in another corner of the room. Out walks a
laborador retriever who approaches the table, circles it and returns to the
door just as the cat had done. Still no response from the dog.

Having no other choice the man accepts the death of his dog and asks the
vet, what do I owe you? The vet replies, $650.00.

$650.00! What for? I brought you a dead dog, you didn't have to do anything.

The vet explained, well it's $50.00 for me, $300.00 for the cat scan
and $300.00 for the lab work.
